New York police arrested more than 30 teenagers from Wallington New Jersey after law enforcement allegedly caught the teens engaging in underage drinking at a house party.
The event was reportedly held in Saugerties, a part of Ulster County, NY. Dozens of students at Wallington High School in Bergen County NJ reportedly went to the party after their annual prom.
According to law enforcement officials, the owner of the home rented the resident to juveniles from Wallington NJ.
The local police got involved after a resident of the neighborhood dialed 911 to complain about noise. Saugerties NY cops showed up and allegedly saw a number of juveniles consuming alcohol.
Cops searched the property and reportedly found three kegs of beer and more than 50 bottles of hard liquor.
A total of 34 teenagers were placed under arrest and charged with the juvenile offense of underage drinking.
After being processed, the Wallington teens were released to their parents or adult guardians. The juveniles will have to appear in a New York courtroom at a later date to answer the juvenile charges.
